Videos Needed of Building Systems in Action

The 2009 International Builders' Show is fast approaching and the Building Systems Councils is searching for constrution videos. The videos will be used in the BSC booth on the show floor. The booth serves as a great avenue to convince builders, developers and contractors of the advantages of using a building system in constructing residential or commercial structures.

The 2009 BSC booth will feature two monitors for viewing the BSC videos of each of the four manufacturing methods and the corresponding councils. The video monitors are a great way to showcase systems technologies in action, while informing interested people of the benefits of using systems. With the help of the BSC Sales and Marketing Committee, the BSC Board of Trustees has agreed to create new videos for each council, as the previous videos were dated.

This is where the BSC needs your help. If your company has recently shot footage for a company video or project, the BSC wants to have a copy for potential use in the new videos for IBS 2009. Please note that the video has to be "raw" footage with natural sound (a company video with graphics and music over top of the footage cannot be used for this project).

We are looking for footage of concrete, log, modular, and panelized construction -- both in the factory and in the field.

The format of the footage is also crucial for consideration. Video tapes (Beta, Digi-Beta, DVC Pro, etc.) are all usable forms. DVD format is acceptable. Please be sure that it is in DVD format (not a compressed CD file) so that it can be used.

In order to complete the videos for IBS 2009, we are on a very tight deadline. All footage must be received by the BSC no later than Wednesday, December 10 to be considered for use in the new BSC videos.
