Since
Barna Log Homes (Oneida, TN) closed its doors in November and laid off 80 employees, a group of a dozen of its most successful distributors have been working to re-open the business and purchase the assets of the company, according to a
report by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
"Log Investors Inc. entered into a management agreement with the log home and cabin manufacturer on Dec. 19, shortly after Barna Log Homes closed for business laying off about 80 employees.
The new company, which hopes to complete acquisition of Barna’s corporate assets by March, has already hired back 50 of those with plans to eventually return to full staff and operations."
As soon as a leader emerges with Log Investors, we will have more on this story.
