Sweet Timber Frames Launches New Website

Sweet Timber Frames, a longtime timber frame home manufacturer, has launched a new website. “We wanted to make sure that the site reflects what Sweet Timber Frames is about – exceptional handcrafted quality, eco-friendliness, approachability, and service,” says John Sweet, owner of Sweet Timber Frames. “Now the website does a great job of showcasing not only our products, but also our continued focus on meeting customer needs through unparalleled design customization. That is truly what sets us apart from our competitors.”

The new site features sections which detail the extensive benefits of timber frame building, as well as educational and informational resources. Visitors can also explore the unique building process of timber frames and peruse a breathtaking gallery of photos and project archives.Sweet Timber Frames Launches New Website

Sweet Timber Frames specializes in traditional mortise and tenon-joined hemlock frames, in which no metal supports or nails are used whatsoever. Each frame is a unique wooden sculpture composed of large beams that lock together with wooden pegs to form the visible interior. The pegs act as a locking mechanism with the joints of the timbers, so that when the frame of the house is assembled on-site, the only element holding the entire structure together is wood.

Founded in 1981, Sweet Timber Frames is a family owned and operated company that specializes in handcrafted, sustainable timber frames. The Sweet Timber Frames team is passionate about the challenges and rewards of each frame cut and erected, knowing it’s a truly unique piece of art.
