Got SIPs? Then Enter SIPA's 2009 Building Excellence Awards

The deadline to submit entries for SIPA’s annual Building Excel­lence Awards is Wednesday, March 25th. Members are encour­aged to submit their best structural insulated panel projects to earn recognition and valuable public exposure. The competition is open to all projects built by a SIPA member that use SIPs for at least 50% of the building envelope. The complete competition guidelines are available here.

Awards will be given in each of the following categories:

· Single Family Homes over 3,000 sq. ft.

· Single Family Homes under 3,000 sq. ft.

· Multi-Family Commercial Buildings

· Agricultural Structures

· Commercial/Industrial/Institutional Structures

· Overall Competition Winner and Runner Up

· Most Unique Application of SIPs

Winning entries will be announced at the Building Excellence Awards Dinner on April 22nd at the 2009 SIPA Annual Meeting & Conference. In addition to receiving a customized plaque, com­petition winners will have their projects posted on the SIPA web­site, announced in SIPA’s quarterly newsletter, and promoted on this website and in the print edition of Building Systems magazine.
