Going International: Epoch Shipping Homes to Ukraine
Epoch Homes (Pembroke, NH) is selling and shipping custom modular and panelized homes to the Ukraine. These initial homes will serve as the basis for model homes in a major housing development within a Ukrainian community. Epoch Homes has previously sold homes to customers in Poland and Japan.
Using the company’s on-line Design Center allows remote homeowners to select and specify an almost limitless combination of features, fixtures and systems to experience a truly custom home design experience without geographic constraints.
The internet based international direct marketing system is thought to be the first of its kind for marketing such a complex product. As the customer develops their custom design, a unique kit of subassemblies and parts is created for each custom home with matching directions for assembly. The kit is, as they say, complete with everything, including the kitchen sink. Everything is included, even nails and paints.
