RIP Northern Log Homes

In June Northern Log Homes (Bangor, ME) closed its doors, a victim of tightened credit and the slowdown in new housing. The company’s founders held a sale to sell off much of its equipment. The closing of Northern Log Homes comes on the heels of the folding of Moose Creek (Turner, ME) and Wilderness/Greatwood (Plymouth, WI) earlier this year, although the latter has reopened as Wilderness Log & Timber Company.
