Bob Wildes, Jack McBride and Sue Hawkes, the principals of ABODE, are pleased to announce the grand opening of their new design center and award winning green model home in Plymouth, NH. ABODE builds custom and semi custom homes that are greener, more energy efficient, structurally stronger, and quicker to deliver than conventionally built homes.
The grand opening to the public is set for Oct. 4th and 5th, from noon until 3 p.m. Tours will be available. A Ribbon Cutting ceremony is set for Thursday, Oct. 2nd at 4 p.m.
The company’s hybrid modular system combines factory built sections and components with custom site built finishes to attain a level of efficiency and quality control that is not possible with conventional site built processes.
“With our system, we reap the benefits of building in a controlled environment without compromising craftsmanship and design.” says principal Jack McBride, an NAHB certified Green Building Professional. “This is the future. It’s a whole new level of energy savings and quality. Our process is so simple it makes building a new home fun again.” The hybrid construction process is recognized as green by design by The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) of the U.S. Green Building Council. The company plans to open additional centers throughout New England over the next three years.
