Building Systems: Construction Reinvented

Construction Reinvented.

Gallatin, TN – Tuesday, May 19, 2009, launch of the nationwide marketing campaign for Cable-Tite was a huge success. The launch, which showcased the Cable-Tite tie-down system, took place at a new home being constructed by Fred Yates Homes. The event was attended by many people involved in the new home building industry.

Cable-Tite addresses the need for a simple and robust way to protect homes from high-wind uplift. This hold-down system uses a cable that attaches the top plate to the foundation. It is held in place by a patented cam-locking nut and cap. “Other current methods are time consuming and expensive. Cable-Tite is an easy system to install, in about half the time, and offers better protection”, says T. Allen Bransford, President of Cable-Tite.

The primary markets for Cable-Tite are the high-wind regions of the country. These areas account for 37% of the new home construction. Cable-Tite is excellent for additional high-wind protection for any home owner.
