Event Description

Learn about one of the fastest growing construction technologies at the Structural Insulated Panel Association’s Annual Meeting & Conference.

The SIPA Annual Meeting & Conference is the only event that focuses exclusively on SIPs and their role in green building. The conference sessions will cover everything from the importance of a high performance building envelope to tips and techniques for effectively designing SIP homes and commercial buildings.

Although SIPs have been around for over 30 years, they have recently emerged as a cost-efficient solution for green buildings. SIPs offer the ability to increase air tightness, provide continuous high-density insulation, and reduce material use while still saving on framing labor.

At the full-day design symposium, attendees will hear from experienced SIP architects and engineers on how to best incorporate SIPs into the design process. Engineering, shop drawings, and time-saving construction details are some of the key topics on the agenda. Builders can attend a similar full-day builder and installer symposium covering hands-on installation and site management techniques for SIP construction.

Register online at www.sips.org, and if you have any questions please contact the SIPA office at 253.858.7472.
