Building Systems: Fast & Efficient Home Building Options
for Storm Ravaged Communities
Friday, January 13
1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Room 203A
Presented by NAHB’s Building
Systems Councils
When picking up the pieces after a natural disaster, communities and builders
are faced with myriad challenges and obstacles to rebuilding. Systems-built
homes – concrete, log, modular, and panelized – can help builders
to overcome shortages of materials and skilled labor, and provide quick and
efficient construction with a large variety of options.
A panel of systems building experts will review this type of construction,
demonstrate how builders, consumers, and communities can take advantage of
this construction, and present case studies and photographs from the past year.
